Health Wellness China Health Wellness Center Shanghai is the first project of Health Wellness China. A group of prominent Chinese doctors led by their investment banker Don Jiang Liang, president of the Shanghai University Medical Technologies Investment Co., Ltd. (SUMTI), together with Egon Ali Oglu, Architect, ENVIRODESIGN, Architects & Planners and COMPONOFORM™ International, LLC, have developed a comprehensive state-of-the-art, high-tech, health and medical center that will include a 200 bed hospital, variety of world class laboratories, rehabilitation and wellness center, and a computer and communications structure to support patients, doctors and facilities managers. This privately owned and managed facility is a new concept providing an advanced medical center which will serve the public with the latest medical sciences and communication technologies to foster good health, limit damage from potential pandemics and provide educational material through mobile and Internet enabled devices. The heart of the overall complex operation is the communication center that will serve not only the urban population of Shanghai but also the provincial rural area satellite clinics within the greater Shanghai area. Other opportunities for growth include international medical tourism, pharmaceutical research, clinical trials, and elective surgery for the emerging middle and wealthy classes.
